Delicious! I'm happy to have found "my" Banana Bread Recipe. I wrap it in foil and plastic wrap for a day or more so the flavors can really develop. Also, seperating the bananas isn't necessary, you may just blend them all with the sugar. Great with or without the nuts and it may actually be better without the powdered sugar, or any butter, cream cheese, etc. Melted butter makes it convenient for spur of the moment. Grateful to have found this.=

Tyler Florence does it again. His bread is so good. My husband and I ate half of it in one night. I didn't have pecans, added walnuts instead. And used salted butter didn't have unsalted, cut the salt in half then.VERY GOOD!!!!! I have tried 3 of his recipes and thet are all excellent. Will be buying his cookbooks now.

I watched Tyler make this, and toasted the pecans first, like he suggested, and this bread turned out fantastic!!! It was very moist with a great flavor. Definitely a keeper.

We have banana trees in our backyard, so we had to do something with all the bananas. Ours are small, so I used 8, and it was wonderful. Everyone at my school loved it.

fantastic! this recipe had just the right amount of sweetness, i added one more banana to the recipe than required for texture and taste but thats only personal preference. however do watch the time because mine was done in half hour.
