This bread was really good, but mine wasn't done in the center so I had to throw alway all but the ends...=(. My suggestion would be to put 1/2 the batter in another pan and cut the cooking time down that way the bread won't be gooey in the center like mine was. But make this bread..SO yummy!

I have made this recipe many times with wonderful results. Honestly it has never failed. I decreased the sugar to 3/4 cup and added lemon zest. Tried it with whole wheat flour with good results.

I substituted Splenda for the sugar (plus about 1TB light brown sugar, and left out the pecans, and it was considered delicious by all!!

It baked sooner than the time suggested, but that may be because I use a convection oven?

This banana bread was absolutely delicious. I've made three loaves in the past two days and my friends are begging for more!! I was a little apprehensive about using pecans as opposed to walnuts, but after using the pecans I will never go back to walnuts again!! Thank you Tyler!!

When I first made this I forgot to first melt the butter and let it cool. So, I put it in the frig for a short time before using. I made 4 small loafs instead of one large one. For my oven, it cooked about 30 minutes. But I prefer muffins which took 18 minutes. My husband, daughter, and I love these muffins. I buy extra bananas now just so I can make this. I'm learning so much from you, Tyler. You and Food TV are creating a good cook in me! Thank You!!
