Delicious and moist. I used walnuts, added about 1 cup of oats and sprinkled mini chocolate chips on the top.

These muffins are delicious!! I'm pretty stingy with 5 star ratings on baked goods too, so I feel like my 5 star rating really means a lot. I didn't have to make any annoying adjustments to the recipe; they turned out magnificently jut as they were written. They tasted a lot like my grandmother's banana bread, and believe me, that's a good thing. I knew this would be a good one, because it called for 4 bananas. I think I baked it one minute less than what the recipe calls for, but that's just personal preference. TRY THESE MUFFINS!!!! you will not regret it. well, scale-wise, you might. . .

I have never made a banana nut muffin or bread, but I had a bunch of over-ripe bananas to use-up. I found this recipe this morning, and I made it according to the recipe. It was very, very delicious. Very moist, perfectly sweet, crusty on the top, moist in the middle. Just perfect.

As with other commenters, I also had a little trouble figuring out exactly how many muffins this was supposed to make (12? 24? large? does small mean mini?. So, here's the deal: It will make 24 regular sized muffins. I made a full batch of the recipe, and I filled 12 REGULAR sized muffin cups all the way to the top with batter. I had less than half the batter left -- which I discarded b/c we just can't eat more than 12. If I had filled the muffin cups about 3/4 of the way with batter, I think I could have made 24 regular sized muffins. Next time, I will half the recipe to make just 12. Hope that clears it up.

I will definitely make this recipe again. Thank you, Tyler!

These are by far the best banana nut muffins I have ever made. I left the recipe exactly the same, they are moist and full of flavor!

Wow! These were better than expected. This made 18 large muffins for me. It definitely needed at least 20 minutes to bake. To make them a bit healthier, I used half wheat flour and half almond flour. You would never know.

Loved these! Makes 24 small muffins so reduce the bake time 5 mins or so to make sure they don't overcook. Even though mine were a little overdone, they were moist on the inside and totally delicious. Will definitely make again!

This was a great recipe...I tend to tweek recipes depending on my whim of the day.....so...I decided to add orange flavored cran raisins...about 3/4 cup...or any flavor you might like. I also added about 3/4 cup of oats as well.....then..after filling the paper cups half full of the mixture I sprinkled the top with a mixture of...1/2 c brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. oats mixed together. It adds another taste to the muffin as you bite into it. Bit hit with my lover boy ! We will certainly make this recipe again... Thanks, Tyler
