This was so good I made it twice this week because I didn't want to run out of left overs.

This dish was totally awesome. I do recommend, however, that if you have a family of four or more that you add an extra cup of beef stock and adjust the other seasonings accordingly. We like a lot of sauce--and rightfully so because this dish is superb! Also, if you like your sauce thicker than add a corn starch slurry (and up the heat before you add it so it is boiling or it won't thicken properly at the end of cooking. Williams Sonoma has a liquid beef stock concentrate that is out of this world! I have made this dish at least a dozen times and it is always amazing. Tyler Florence is one of the best Chefs on the Food Network. His only shortfall in my opinion is that he drizzles way too much olive oil on every single dish he cooks. Chill out on the olive oil!

Made this last night. Best beef stroganoff I've ever had. I don't even consider myself much of a cook and it still was amazing. I followed the recipe to the T except I didn't butter the noodles or garnish with parsley. Also, 2 inch cubes of beef seemed really large so I only did .75-1inch cubes. Don't leave out the cognac, it imparts an amazing rich flavor to it! Highly recommended, I will be making this again soon.

I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I tasted this succulent dish. The meat was tender and incredibly flavorful. It was everything and more that I have come to expect from Tyler.

If you have the time, this recipe is so worth it. I admit I added a touch more sour cream than what the recipe called for but what can I say...what great cook doesn't make a recipe their own?? Try this..it's delicious!

I had a great stroganoff from a local restaurant. Many, including myself, raved about it. This recipe definitely surpassed that. What a rich flavor!

This recipe was worth the effort!! Thank you Tyler!! I took previous ratings to heart and salt, peppered and floured the meat. I omitted 1/2 cup broth and much of the butter! In future I would add a bit more sour cream, and mustard and of course poppy seeds to the noodles for their authentic earthiness!
Huge home run!! This is company worthy and easy to do ahead!!
enJOY!

Very good, i did not have cognac, but even without it it was good. The sauce was a little liquidy for our taste, so i thickened with a little cornstarch and some of the liquid.

I've made this a few times, and now that it's getting cooler I'm going to make it this weekend. Absolutely delicious, the flavors are intense. My picky son loves it.
