Thought the stroganoff was a tad dry, lacking in moisture from the gravy. I would cook the mushrooms less time to increase the moisture content. The flavor was excellent.

So many recipes I've seen lately call for beef fillet to cut down on cooking time but what I am really looking for was delivered by this recipe. I was looking for an easy way to take and inexpensive cut of meat and make it into a flavorfull and special dish. I had it just by it's self instead of with noodles since my friend is doing Atkins. I wouldn't change thing in this recipe. Fabulous!!

I made this for dinner and, I had this with rice not over the nudle. Well, my husband does not like sour cream so, instead,I used Yogurt. This came out so so, but I think something, some kinds of spice is missing for me.Sauce was thin so,I added starch to make it thick. As a substitute, using Yogurt was not good? If so, what can it be as a substyitute? If anyone knows,I like to know.

I followed this recipe exactly except I had fresh Chanterelle mushrooms that I used. I served it to guests the first time I made it (which is usually risky and everyone loved it. I have this filed in my favorites. Tyler is a great cook.

I MADE THIS FOR DINNER (OVER THE WEEKEND, SINCE IT TAKES 3 HRS AND IT WAS VERY RICH AND TASTY. I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE IT AGAIN, BUT I THINK I WILL USE 3LBS MEAT, AS IT LITERALLY MELTS, AND THERE SEEMED TO BE WAY MORE NOODLES.
