I made these the other day after watching Tyler and they were super easy to make and SO delicious! They came out really crumbly, though, and I wondered what went wrong? I also noticed the dough seemed a bit wet. Could that be it?
Crumbly or not, I'll definitely be making these again.

didn't know it was so easy to make scones and butter, for the butter i had to leave it in the food processor longer than the 4 minutes stated in the receipe and for the scones i added the berries to the dry mixture and then added the buttermilk they came out so light i will definitely make this one again.

These were absolutely delicious. We opted to use strawberries because we don't like raspberries or blackberries too much, and blueberries were more expensive this week at our stores than strawberries. I saw the episode this past Saturday, but wasn't paying close enough attention. But I knew I had to try them. I didn't process the heavy cream long enough, and got no buttermilk out of it. So I put it back in the food processor and ran it again, and all was fine. We have a ton of butter, and a huge bowl of the buttermilk. The scones were fabulous. However, I'd say it took me longer than 20 minutes prep time - partly because of my mistake with the butter, and partly because I had to take time out to wash all of the food processor parts to do the scones themselves. Mark me down as a 3rd person to have a problem with the cream escaping out of both the bottom and top of the processor. Maybe it's because my processor is cheaply made and an off-brand (and plastic? I don't know if there is a solution. I wish I'd read the suggestion of putting something under the food processor to catch all the escaping cream! We will be making these again.

I made these today for the first time and both my husband and I loved them! The orange honey butter was a great addition and there is a lot left over to freeze and save for another batch. I did not find any of it bland at all!

The scones may not rise because your butter is too warm. I've had this problem with shortcakes. I solved it by chilling the dough for a few minutes before baking.

I've made these several times now, and each time they come out flat like pancakes. I used new baking powder and soda. Even though they're flat, they're still delicious. It's my daughter's favorite food for me to make when she's in from college. To Melissa from MD: I had the same problem with the liquid spilling out from both places on the food processor. Can anyone give me any tips on why they're flat?

Tonight will be the fourth time I've made these absolutely delicious and easy scones. They are ALWAYS a huge hit with friends and family. I'm making a batch for my parents to take with them to celebrate their 45th anniversary in Carmel, CA. I can't think of anything better they could enjoy with their morning coffee. Thanks again Tyler. You NEVER disappoint me. :

So I've wanted to try making these ever since I saw it on TV but I never had a food processor, Anyway, I just got one last night and made these today. They were aMaZiNg!!!!! Scones had a delicious outer crust and the middle was moist, soft and scrumptious.
The butter was so great too and so easy to do! For the readers that thought it was bland, I would suggest just adding a little more salt. I accidentally over-mixed the berries in the dough a little too much so they actually came out quite hideous, but tasted fabulous! So try not to over mix or it will come out looking like alien poop.
    Thanks Tyler!!!! : <3

I didn't make my own butter, but the scones still had a wonderfl buttery taste. The only downside for me was that the fresh-picked blackberries I used were crushed too easily when I stirred them in. I think this would be a great recipe for any dried fruit because it'd be easier to mix! I'm trying dried cherries next time!

the scones are perfect- light fluffy golden brown and buttery. much better than any restaurant or store scone i've had! and ready in minutes, i never knew it was so easy.

the butter, while fun and easy to make, just didn't seem to have enough flavour for me though. fun to say you made your own, but not much different than just normal butter in my opinion.

def mix the berries in with the flour before the milk...

def use a stand mixer to avoid a mess in your food pro...
