These were really easy to make. I had a hard time gauging my oven though. They were toasty in about 10 minutes - the recipe called for at least 17 min. I made the butter which was pretty fun. I cut the ingredients in half and so glad that I did. I was able to squeeze out plenty of buttermilk. I gave this recipe 3 stars because I thought the buttermilk and butter was pretty bland. Next time I would probably buy buttermilk.

Wow, the scones were absolutely delicious. The recipe was easy to follow and they came out perfect. I didn?t have a chance to make the homemade butter, but I did zest orange and added a little honey and mixed that all together. I chilled the butter mixture while the scones were baking. I served them to my family and the only thing I added was a little raspberry jam on the side. For me, it was a perfect compliment. My family thoroughly enjoyed them. I will definitely be making these again! Thank You Tyler!

Brought some fresh blue berries / butter at the farmers market to put in this just for extra homemade flavor! Scones turned out great but I was confused on butter, mine looked like homemade ice cream? I was concerned when it had the consistency of homemade ice cream but it held well leaving no milk for the scones. Tasted great the next day and didn't melt fast like I would've thought. My only complaint is butter is so good caught myself eating like pudding, that must be why ALL butter doesn't taste this good!

I have never made butter before. Tyler's directions on TV were so simple a child could make butter. I only have Tupelo honey on the cabinet, I am not sure if it was the use of this honey, but the flavor of the butter was so rich and sinfully sweet.
The scones were delightful, I had issues with berry bleeding, I used thawed berries instead of fresh. The melting butter on the scones made the recipe for me. This is such a simple recipe, I'll be making this for my friend coming to town.

These scones were excellent and I have taken the liberty of passing that recipe on to my sisters. I'm sure they will love them too. I can't wait for my kids to come home so I can make them again. I also enjoyed making my own butter too. Thanks Tyler -- I caught the last half of your program and decided they looked very good and I wanted to give it a try. Well worth the time.

I loved these scones. the recipe is so simple and quick. Has anyone else thought there was too much baking powder/soda? Mine taste very salty like b-powder and soda. I double checked my ingredients before adding and thought powder/soda/salt seemed like a little too much? I usually use 2 tsp powder and 1/2 tsp each soda and salt to 2 cups flour for biscuits/scones. But otherwise, these were great!
Oh well, will try them again and see what happens!

Loved this recipe the first time I made it: I didn't have fresh berries, but I subbed in orange-flavored craisins and white chocolate. Delicious! Very moist and fluffy. This time around, I'm using fresh strawberries and almonds. The dough seemed a bit wet when I put it in the oven, but I'm confident they'll turn out well.

tried twice this morning to make this. thought at first my berries perhaps were a bit wet OR i had old baking soda and old baking powder. changed all of that on the second time around. still while baking scones expand and get large and NOT very high. Not at all like on TV. Yes, i caught the berry difference from the recipe vs. how he did it on tv. did that right also. any ideas.

These are the best scones I've ever eaten. The recipe is easy. I followed it all except I put the berries in before the milk. Just be gentle and don't messup the berries. When I made the butter I didn't think it was going to work, but it did. It took about 6 minutes in my food processer. You have to try these!
