I mde this for a church brunch and everyone loved it.
I made my own lemon curd and instead of using the alcohol I heated up some preserves to spread on the cake and it turned out wonderful.

I loved this recipe. Served for bunco and got rave reviews. I used 6 pints of berries with the quart of whipping cream, about 2 cups of lemon curd and 2 plus pound cakes and filled a large and a smaller trifle bowl, it easily served 16. For those having trouble finding lemon curd, it is often carried at upscale retailers, have bought at Williams Sonoma before, but after searching I found it in the baking section of our local supermarket. It' s pricy but worth it, it made a huge difference in flavor. Thus recipe is definitely a keeper.

Best Trifle recipe ever!!! This is perfect for Easter, light and flavorful. My husband is not a sweet eater and I've struggled for years to find something to make for his birthday. Found it! He loves this. YUM. Thanks!

I made this for a Labor Day barbeque and everyone just raved over it! It was really easy and tasted like it was difficult. The cream with the lemon curd was perfect! I will make this many times again for company, especially at the end of summer with all of our wonderful fresh berries!

This recipe was amazing! I like the twist with the Lemon Curd. I've made trifles before and this one really stood out. It was a hit with my inlaws, my hubby and my 2 year old. I posted this recipe to my fitness/health page and shared the rave reviews...mannieeurofitmommy is my page
