I have searched long and hard for a Buttermilk biscuit recipe that was light, flaky and not hard as a rock! These biscuts are by far the best and easiest I have tried. My family loved them!!! As a little special addition, I melted Honey and Butter together and dipped the tops of the biscuts in it, my husband loved them and I must say they tasted out of this world!!!

This is the first time my biscuits have actually turned out the way they were supposed too. I loved the technique of folding the dough in thirds to get the layering effect. It really makes the biscuits taste better. I substituted butter for the shortening, and it worked just fine. Thanks, Tyler, for another great recipe!

These are so easy to make and the taste is excellent. Much better than store bought ready to bake biscuits. More homemade flavor and I cant believe how much they rise. The buttermilk and shortning make this the perfect biscuit.
