We took other reviewers advice and substituted rum. We used blackberries instead of blueberries as that is all we had and it turned out great. We'll be making a batch for our next get together. Awesome!

We have made these several times and everyone loves them! It's a bit of work getting the syrup made, but so worth the work. Enjoy having these Mojito's at a cookout or game night, whenever! And yes, Vodka is the perfect ingredient for this mojito recipe. Love em! love em! love em!!

We have made these for the past 2 years at Lake Michgan.
Always is the favorite drink of the week.

This was great. So fresh and flavorful. I cut down on the ginger and used only about a tablespoon and a half. I didn't want the ginger to overpower the whole thing and it turned out delicious!

Great, easy beverage. The ginger gives it real pop and the lime and mint compliment the blueberries. A real summer treat.

OK, I can live with the blueberries, but no rum? You are killing me!

As a native Cuban I take exception with replacing our good spirits with vodka.

Tyler needs to take a vacation in Habana and visit La Bodeguita del Medio, the birthplace of the mojito and see how it is really done.

I am sure the drink is great, but a mojito it is not.

I tried this for the first time last night taking the other reviewer's suggestions and using light rum instead of vodka. It was really good, although my husband said it was girly! Will make again though.
