No way! You don't make a mojito with vodka, you bonehead! Use light rum, and this recipe is great!

I made a batch of these mojitos for a party and they were gone. Everybody loved them and they were really easy to make- just do it in the morning ahead of when people are coming over.

This was nice, cool and refreshing. I used frozen blueberries and muddled the ginger right in, rather than adding it to the sugar syrup.

I omitted the ginger as I'm not a big fan, and just used the vodka which I had on hand, Currant, and it was awesome. I did have to spend time smashing the berries, lime and mint, but it was worth the effort. The flavors are great together.

Awful, awful, awful...the flavors sound like they'd meld well...and they will, when you use rum like a mojito should! I switched this recipe to rum and instead of using whole blueberries (which do NOT muddle well I put them in the blender and strained them to make more of a blueberry sauce/puree. All in all it's a good effort, but Tyler should definently stick to food, and leave bartending alone :-(
