I have been making these scones ever since I got Tyler's first cookbook. They are the best ever. Tender, delicious and easy to make. Like some of the other reviewers I adjusted the glaze. I use 2T. lemon juice, 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar, zest of 1 lemon and 1T. butter. It makes plenty of glaze and is a good consistency.

These scones are great! I agree with the reviewer that said that mixing the blueberries in was a little difficult with the crumbly dough, but I just pushed a handful of berries in each scone, and it worked well. I didn't even bother with the rolling and cutting step, I just shaped them roughly into blobs and they were great. I added one additional tablespoon of butter to the dough and they turned out tender and rich and wonderful! This recipe could easily be tweaked for different flavors and I will definitely make these again.

These scones were way too dry! I couldn't form them into the rectangle and then cut them into triangles. I just pushed the dry pieces together. I agree with the person who said there are much better scone recipes on the Food Network! I loved the lemon sauce and I will use it again but not the scone recipe.

The scones were very easy to make and delicious to eat!! My only problem was the glaze did not come out thick enough to stick to the scones. I will definitely make these again. Yum!

This recipe was so easy and they tasted great. Even my kids loved them. The lemon glaze really brings the flavors out.

Maybe I don't know enough about scones, but I thought they needed more sugar, and would add lemon zest and juice to the mix next time.

This is a recipe that I immediately made sure I held onto for the future.
I made these for a brunch and everyone loved them. The glaze recipe could have been a bit thicker, but I have since thickened it myself. I don't understand the negative reviews on this recipe. Its great!!

I love scones and have made this receipe several times and receive rave reviews each. I had to cut down on the blueberries to 1/2 cup I think it was because I picked my own and they were really big and juicy. Also I used them right out of my freezer which helped with the problem of them falling apart and squishing when incorporating them into the dough. I too cut down on the lemon juice to 1/3 cup. If you just like a thin hint of the glaze, don't add additional powdered sugar. If you like a more traditional thicker icing/glaze add more sugar to desire consistency. I usually make a batch half with light thin glaze and half with more sugar which appears more as an icing. Both are very good. The dough tends to be sticky and a little hard to work with, but I just floured the surface well and also my hands as I patted the dough out and it was fine.
Again, I loved them as the receipe was first written and I also love them with my own adjustments.
