What a great recipe! I've never made scones and tried these. Easy to make and so very wonderful. If you love scones, please try these.

These are by far the best scones that I have ever tasted, and everyone I've made them for agrees. They are perfectly crumbly and crisp on the outside and mouthwateringly tender on the inside. Incredible! There is clearly a misprint on the glaze recipe, which is also misprinted in his book, which is odd. I use just under 1/4 cup of lemon juice, add a drop or two of lemon oil and add a little more powdered sugar, and wait until the glaze is practically lukewarm before drizzling it. I've also used this recipe, without the blueberries, for fresh strawberry shortcake, with out of this world results! Just press out the dough a little thinner than for the scones, use your biscuit cutter and sprinkle with sugar before baking. Perfect!

These were terrific! Easy to make and so delicious. I used half/half instead of cream, also added the berries after cutting in butter. Reduced the amount of lemon juice and sugar in the glaze, since it makes way to much.

I made the recipe as seen on Tyler's show. They are delicious BUT my dough was stickier than his even after adding another 1/2 cup of flour. Any suggestions? Also, as Brian commented, the lemon glaze was very runny. I also will add the lemon juice a little at a time. However, I do think this is an excellent tasting recipe and I want to make again but could use some pointers on the above mentioned.

Very different than the traditional scones. We loved the glaze and the sweetness. My daughter actually like them better warmed the next day.

These are excellent scones. Perfect texture & sweetness. Tasted a bit like blueberry muffins but with the texture of a scone. I made them like Tyler did on the show - added the blueberries to the dry mixture & then added the liquid. I think that worked best. My husband & I both loved them!

My dough turned out dry and crumbly, which made it really hard to shape the scones without bruising the blueberries. The scones were also not buttery or sweet enough for my taste.

These scones were great and easy to prepare. They had a soft, light texture. I used light cream instead of heavy and thought they tasted great. Had some issues with the glaze being too liquidy (I tried the microwave method. 1/2 cup liquid was way too much. Next time I will add the liquid slowly and use only what is needed until I have the right consistency. Or, I will try the double boiler.
