Tyler - This pie is truly one of the best I have ever tasted. The second time I made it, I substituted Kaluha instead of the bourbon. AMAZING!!

Easy pie to prepare with excellent results! The bourbon nicely compliments the rich chocolate and pecan filling. (We added a drizzle of warmed chocolate ganache over the top, and of course whipped cream! Mmmmm.

I followed this recipe exactly and this didn't turn out well. All I can say is it was edible but not desirable

So much payoff for such a simple pie. I left out the bourbon because I didn't have any, and it was still a huge hit.

I had never made a pie before, so I was nervous. The instructions were great and the pie turned out good too. I too had to cook the pie a little longer than the recipe said. It's a very rich taste, cool whip or ice cream on top makes it really good. I can't wait for the family to taste it tomorrow.

I made this pie for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and this year it was requested as the dessert for our Christmas dinner!

The only thing that makes this pie better is gobs of fresh whipped cream on top.

I have now made this our new family Christmas tradition and more! I have had some pretty good pies in the past, but, this is the best pecan pie I have ever had! The chocolate and bourbon don not conflict with, but rather enhance all that we love about pecan pies.

I didn't have Bourbon so I used Kaluha instead and it was great. With the Pecans on the bottom it was different too.

Was very easy to make and tasted great.
I like that the chocolate did not overpower the flavor of the pecans.
Will be making this again real soon.

This recipe is the best one I have ever tried! It was so easy to make and tasted great! I have been looking for this kind of recipe since I tried it at a restaurant.
