Great recipe! I too added raspberries and it came out terriffic. I left the skins on the peaches but sliced them super thin and cooked them on the stovetop just a bit longer. I also used Jeremiah Weed Cherry Flavored Bourbon Liquor and it was just amazing! Thanks Tyler.

Just pulled this out of the oven and it is beautiful! Baked it in my cast iron skillet. Changes I made were to add some fresh grated lemon zest, a 1/2 pint of fresh blueberries, and the triple sec (versus the bourbon. If it tastes as good as it looks there's no doubt I'll be making it again. Will also switch up the fruit. Wonder how apples, pecans, plums, etc. would work for Fall?

Superb....I made a few modifications..(but I still love Tyler....changed out bourbon for Triple Sec, (only since I didn't have any bourbon on hand....and blanched the fresh peaches ..removed their skins...and here's the joy....through in a handful of fresh raspberries....ok, maybe two handfuls...and WOW....my husband and kids want this every day... THANK YOU TYLER!

My new favorite fruit dessert! nursekt22 is so right about this being an easily modifiable recipe - I supplemented Cointreau for the Bourbon and it was delicious! The topping is to die for! Not to mention...this recipe is SO easy! This recipe is definitely on my hit list to make regularly.

i made this 2 weeks ago and still have friends begging me to make it again. this cobbler was a hit, even amongst friends who aren't big sweets fans. i added in a heavy 1/3 cup of bourbon (instead of 1/4 cup and it was fantastic. the peaches i used weren't even that good and it was still great. i actually used 6 peaches and 2 nectarines, just to give it a little more tangy flavoring. i used someone elses brilliant tip to boil the fruit for about 45 seconds, then plunge in an ice bath for about 30--the peels slip right off. i can see how this would be an easily modifiable recipe as well. i am going to be making this again and again.

This is one of the best received desserts I have ever served at a party. The recipe didn't split the sugar in the ingredient list, so I added too much sugar to the peaches before cooking. I corrected this by adding the juice and zest of a whole lemon to the peaches then cooking it. I had individual ramekins, so I spread out the peaches into 8- 4 oz ramekins, and topped with equal amounts of cobbler dough. It cooked in 25 minutes at the same temp, and everyone had their own, hot cobbler with a scoop of Publix Organic Vanilla Bean Ice Cream on top. TO DIE FOR!

This is by far the best cobbler I've ever had. The only thing I did differently was added about 2 cups of blueberries and only used about 5 cups of sliced peaches.
