I loved that I was inspired by this recipe. Acknowledging that the taste for salt varies widely, I would eliminate the salt next time altogether because of the lemon juice. Nice taste. I would also add the cheese and broil to finish (which I did after not caring for the way the cheese was melting. I paired it with a salad made of cherry tomatoes, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, and radishes and arugula heavy mesculum from my garden dressed with an adapted Ina Garten lemon vinaigrette topped with fresh basil. Add a glass of crisp white wine and enjoy! I would have given the recipe a higher rating if I didn't feel it needed several modifications. But that's the joy of cooking! I also agree with jessicutza in mixing the oil, spices, and broc in a bowl first.

So good, but add much more salt! I would mix the broccoli with salt, pepper, and oil in a bowl first to coat everything perfectly and then transfer to a baking sheet.

most amazing way to prepare broccoli EVER. I made for christmas as a change to heavy casseroles and it was perfect. I've made many times since. I often add grape tomatoes for the second half of cooking for color and flavor. I've also replicated with cauliflower and it's just as good (I don't normally like caulkiflower either!. Overall, a HUGE winner.

This was super easy and so delicious! I personally don't like broccoli unless it's drenched with cheese, but this recipe is now my favorite way to prepare broccoli. My entire family loved it too!

YuMMy, the parmesan was good, but the recipe works if you go light, or without the parmesan, I made some with a lot, some with less and some with none. Also, I don't think that I'll be steaming broccoli anymore, this is nice and crisp, not soggy at all, I'm even considering reheating the leftovers tomorrow, and I can't stand soggy broccoli.

I cooked the broccoli, parmesan and Lemon today...First of all it was quick and simple! secondly, before I could get it out of the oven quickly my grandkids were all over it. Once finished the entire family raved about its freshness and genuine broccoli taste that was not overpowered by the creative blended with the grouping of cheese and lemon. Truly outstanding!

To Tyler's recipe I added large mushroom caps, sliced eggplant and yellow squash. The flavors melded together beautifully. This technique works with a vast array of vegetables, either combined or singly.
