Loved this. Used less milk and butter, but that didn't diminish the flavor of the dish. Even the turnip hater thought it was good.

My husband loves turnips ... a recipe from his childhood I have never been able to replicate until Tyler's recipe ... I on the other hand hate them, the smell, texture ... yuck!
Until now, that is ... these are really delicious! Easy to make, mild flavor ... was a big hit for Thanksgiving!!

I always enjoy cooking with root vegetables. My husband loves turnips so I was hoping he would like his recipe and he raved about it. I will probably take this dish to the next holiday dinner invitation we receive. Good as always Tyler.

I love this recipe. I made it today and will make it again next weekend. I made the recipe exactly as written and it came out perfect. I love this as an alternative to mashed potatoes.

Soooo delicious. My turnips turned out very creamy as I over-blended them. Wish I had left in a few lumps..... Also, I substituted 2 cups of chicken stock for the liquid as I ran out of milk, and also only used a few tablespoons of butter. They were still very rich and delicious! So, the lighter version is still super satisfying. Yum!

Tasty alternative. Thought I had strained, but next time I will let sit in a colander for awhile

I had a Holiday party to go to and I was the one that had to bring the turnip. I didn't want to bring the same old thing, so I tried this recipe. Needless to say it was a big hit!! THANK YOU TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We made this for Christmas and enjoyed it. I added a couple of Yukon Gold potatoes to the pot, this gave it a more rounded flavor. Otherwise, we followed the recipe as written.
