I actually signed up JUST to review this recipe - this was AMAZING!!! It's so easy, quick to make, and the goat cheese was an awesome base for the dressing. I have a mandoline, but have never used it (and am quite intimidated by it, so I actually used the largest setting on my cheese grater, essentially shredding the squash and it came out perfect!!! This is so light, it's creamy and tangy and incredibly refreshing. I am definitely serving this throughout the Fall. Thank you, Tyler!!

The dressing was very expensive and the flavor was not very good.

blah! if i could give this a negative star i would! the dressing was alright.. but nothing special and WHAT THE HECK i wasted a whole squash and 4 ounces of goat cheese on this! all it tasted like was raw squash with nuts and cranberries, you could barely even notice the dressing in it. My boyfriends not so happy either because i made him julienne the squash. never again. ever. never.

Thank you Tyler! This recipe was the perfect, light appetizer before Thanksgiving dinner. It never occurred to me to eat squash raw! I used the disc of a food processor that grates pieces small, but not the smallest. After mixing the ingredients together, I separated and filled the smallest center stalks of a Chinese cabbage, so the colelsaw could become finger food. Everyone loved it, even those who claim not to like squash. It's great to have a use for squash that doesn't involve syrup!

This is definitely different. I didn't try it on or with sloppy joe's but it was so good. I made if for my husband and didn't say a word. I wanted to see what he would say. He could not figure out what it was. He was shocked. It's not a harsh squash taste at all. Its weird but it's refreshing and light. Not heavy at all. If you can be open minded to a different coleslaw DO IT! It's worth it.

This recipe is amazing. It's a nice change from traditional coleslaw. The goat cheese and honey go great together. Only downside is that it took me FOR-E-VER to cut up the squash.

I love all the ingredients, even the raw squash, but for some reason it didn't come together for me. I LOVE goat cheese, but I think that was the wrong cheese for this dish. I ate it the first night with the sloppy joes (which were great but then the second night I wanted to throw up. It was just weird.

Before trying this recipe, the only squash I would eat is zucchini. This was wonderful! At first I found it a bit challenging to julienne the squash, but I eventually got the hang of it, and WOW! I always get salad duty for the Thanksgiving get together. This one will definitely be included this year. It not only tastes great, it has great texture and is visually appealing!

My gf and I just made everything from the entire episode...everything was average aka not bad but not something we would make again -- however this was the star, the flavors were just terrific and would highly recommend this coleslaw, do not skip this no matter what you do!

You do need to have very good knives or a very good mandolin to make this recipe, or both -- the effort is well worth it
