I just made this tonight. I was searching for a good stuffing recipe w/o sausage since my dad is watching his sodium intake. This was a hit. I love how different it tastes. I believe the sage is the difference maker.

Amazing - so delicious. I used the Pioneer Woman's blueberry cornbread muffins, without the blueberries or vanilla. I also used 12 of them since they're "mini" instead of 6 large ones. The combination is outstanding. Also, if you add a little extra heavy cream, it'll keep the cornbread moist. Using homemade cornbread muffins makes this dish spectacular.

This is the first time eating cornbread stuffing...and it was delicious! We actually used up a box of Trader Joe's cornbread mix, instead of buying cornbread muffins, and made it the night before Thanksgiving. The recipe was really easy and turned out great. The only improvement for next time is to add a little bit more liquid to the cornbread mixture...even with the caramelized onions there were some cornbread pieces that were a bit crumblier than the rest. Overall though, this was a huge hit at our Thanksgiving table and we'll be making this again next year.

Delicious, but use properly caramelized onions ONLY. Do not brown some onions for 10 min and throw them in. Take the couple of hours to fully caramelize the onions the day or a few days before, and save them in the fridge or freezer until needed. The gooey texture of fully-caramelized onions will solve all the moisture problems.

Very good. I did have to add a lot more liquid, but that is how dressing (or stuffing tends to be. I made my own cornbread without sugar. My grandma (who was from Arkansas looked down on "corn-cake" so I'm not used to sweet corn breads... unless it's a dessert. This recipe works well with a dense, savory cornbread base.

This was a really simple and delicious stuffing. A lot of stuffing recipes use celery which I really don't love, so this was a nice change. I was also looking for a recipe without any meat to lighten things up a little, so this was great!

Love this stuffing recipe! It's easy and always gets rave reviews. If you live near a Safeway they have delicious cornbread that works well.
