I typically make a traditional bread stuffing on Thanksgiving but am glad I gave this a shot. Very flavorful and got rave reviews from all!

This is the best stuffing recipe ever.... I added some spicy chicken sausage. I cooked sausage then placed in food processor. After caramelizing onions I added sausage and cooked together.
When I baked stuffing I placed it on a flat baking sheet and would mix a few times while baking to thoroughly cook it.

OMG - Tyler - love, love, love this recipe!!! The combo of flavors are fantastic :D My husband asked for a sausage dressing...so I added andouille sausage and it gave it an extra kick - just superb!!! My parents, Granny and the rest of my family loved it so much for Thanksgiving...that now they have requested I make it for Christmas!!! Great job Tyler~

Sorry, I don't agree with the ratings on this stuffing. The flavor is just not there - it is bland with no pop. Mine came out mushy and greasy. I did make it inside the bird. Go to Giada's chestnut stuffing for a more successful dish.

This was a total fail for me. Not sure what I did wrong but it came out very dry and bland. Maybe I needed more liquid? I used the Jiffy muffin mix as others suggested and baked in a casserole dish, not inside the turkey. It was not worth the effort and even a boxed stuffing mix would have been better.

Excellent! I've made this recipe for Thanksgiving the last two years and it is a hit. I doubled all of the ingredients and used it as a dressing outside of the turkey. Tyler is a little vague about the amount of sage to use so I try not to go overboard with it. I will be making this recipe every Thanksgiving and will probably triple the ingredients going forward.

I cant say that I liked it like the majority. Maybe b/c it was sweet (used costco corn muffins I guess there's a difference b/w corn muffins and corn meal muffins - i didnt think so. Anyway, the moisture consistency was fine, just sweet - i like to have celery and other veggies in my stuffing, so this wasn't for me. Maybe adding it would have been different - like someone had done. I may try it again and review it after some changes.

This was fantastic. I made it along with several other sides on Thanksgiving and it was the first to go.

Lovely. The sage and onion give such a rich, fragrant sweetness. The cornbread stays soft, but not soggy, on the inside, and crunchy on the top. My favorite stuffing recipe.

My husband is very picky with stuffing, and only likes the one his mother makes. We were not celebrating Thanksgiving with his parents this year, so I had to make the stuffing. I used 6 large corn muffins from the grocery store. I followed the directions exactly...no additional liquid as some of the reviews suggest. I baked it covered for 30 minutes, took the cover off (used Corningware with the glass top and baked for another 5 minutes to give the top some crispiness. It came out moist and delicious! I will be making a double batch of this for Christmas!
