I use this recipe every Christmas to go with my prime rib roast. Wouldn't serve any other way!! Thanks Tyler!

This is delicious. I love celery root and the kick from the horseradish is an added bonus. Next time, I might even omit the potato. Thanks, Tyler!

I made this dish with a roast chicken and it was a fabulous complement.

Paired nicely with the standing rib roast for Christmas Eve dinner. I had a hard time using the ricer for the celery root and wound up using the masher, so the texture was not quite as smooth as I would have liked.

It took searching three different stores to find celery root, but the end result was worthwhile. We made this for Christmas dinner using prepared horseradish instead of fresh, and it was one of the big hits (along with the Apple dish from the same episode. The taste is really unique, with a mild and not over-powering celery flavor. We will definitely make this again.

i couldn't find the celery root in our local grocery store but made the recipe without it...it still turned out great!!! i love the taste and it was perfect for our Christmas lunch. The taste of the horseradish really made a big difference. Thanks Tyler!

Once again Tyler delivers. My husband, who is a mashed potato purist, was absolutely sold. I served them whith tyler's green beans with caramelized onions and almonds and a fruited cornish game hen. The whole meal was a success, but my husband still raved about the potatoes the most.
I must say that trying to put the celery root and potatoes through the ricer was a challenge, next time I'll just use a food mill.
