Since time was an issue for me, I used a supermarket rotisserie chicken, Chicken Basics chicken stock, and frozen biscuit dough that I thawed, rolled, and cut into bite-sized squares. Even with all my short cuts, this dish was fantastic and full of flavor. My family loved it, and the only thing I'll do different next time is double the recipe.

Although this recipe is very time-consuming, it's well worth all the time and effort. In fact, I'm making it right now for the second time this week because the last batch went too fast!

I recently wrote a very detailed review about how to make these dimplings at an elevation of 4600 ft., but the site deleted the whole thing before I could send it. Downgraded this to 4 stars as it is very labor intensive, and I do not star cooking at 1 PM.

This is not the first time I made this recipe and it won't be the last. It does take longer but using pre-made homemade stock cut the total prep time. I just saved the bones and made new stock the next day, saving it in the freezer. However, I too have a big question about the flour measurements in the supreme sauce and sent this question into the network. I don't think they'll do anything about making a change to or clarifying the recipe. However, if more people question this, perhaps someone will review it and make any necessary changes. Perhaps the 1 tablespoon amount referred to a different ingredient??

I've been making this for years, since I first saw Tyler make it. It is the best chicken and dumpling recipe I have ever tasted. It is worth the time to make it. When I need to speed it along, I will use store bought broth. The flavor from the roasted chicken and supreme sauce completely hide the fact that I have "cheated". I would recommend that everyone try this recipe. DELICIOUS!!!

My family loved this recipe. I will be fixing this many more times in the future. My husband is a bit of a picky eater and he thought this was the best he has had.
