this recipe is almost identical to my moms...every time i make it i have unexpected dinner guests, and i never have leftovers! not hard to make, although it does take a couple hours to prepare, but well worth the effort!!!

I used a store bought rotisserie chicken and saved time, it still came out great!

i have never had so many complements on any of my dishes, than this! i use low sodium canned chicken broth to save time, and it's as good as making your own!

Ok, not one of Tylers sayings, but this is TOTAL comfort food. And good too.

While I agree that the recipe can be very labor intensive, I make a quick version when I don't have extra time using boneless, skinless chicken breast chunks or a deli roasted chicken and store-bought stock. Everyone I've made this for absolutely loved it--definitely one of my favorite recipes ever!

I had been wanting chicken and dumplings for months, but my husband insisted he did not like chicken and dumplings because they are too soggy, so I had been on the lookout for a recipe that he might enjoy. I caught Tyler's show and decided to give it a try when he said the dumplings would be nice and fluffy. The recipe is something to save when you have a full afternoon to kill, but it was great! My husband LOVED it. He even said the broth is the best chicken soup he's ever had. Two thumbs way up!
