    I like a rolled cut dumpling. So I used this dumpling recipe (adding thyme and parsley to dough and added a little more flour. It was still a slightly sticky dough but these were the moste fluffy, tender dumplings I have ever made. This recipe makes the list.

    I too signed up just to review this recipe...my family LOVED IT! I rolled out the dumplings(I don't like drop dumplings and I totally forget the heavy cream. It was the most amazing thing I have cooked in a long time. I can't wait to make it again, I have to know how it will taste if I remember all the ingredients lol.

    I signed up just to review this. I've tried both Paula Deen's Chicken and Dumplings recipe on this site and this one, and this one kills Paula's. Go Tyler! Beating the southern girl at her own game. I like a thicker chicken and dumplings so I upped the flour in the sauce to 2/3 cup and it came out great - nice and thick, and extremely flavorful. I also didn't have pearl onions, so I chopped up a sweet vidalia and sauteed it in the beginning with the rest of the vegetables and it came out great! Can't say enough good things about this recipe. Better than grandmas.

    This is seriously one of the best things i've ever made from food network!! This is something I would never normally make, but I had all the ingredients, even the organic chicken, so I thought "what the heck". My husband and both my kids (including my very picky 2 year old absolutely loved it. I can't say enough good things about it. Cheers to you Tyler!!!

    This was so yummy and not too difficult.
    It does take a bit of time however. I cut a corner by making roasted chicken the previous night for dinner. I saved the thighs and one ***** for this recipe and used the bones to make the chicken stock. The flavor was nice and rich, the dumplings have a great chewy texture on the outside and soft texture on the inside. I love the chives for a bit of flavor.
