The recipe took a little longer than expected to make, but was still very easy and my husband and I (who are both huge fans of all things Tex-Mex/Mexican thought that they were wonderful! Instead of regular pepper, I used a bit of chipotle chili pepper powder to season the chicken, and it definitely gave them a little extra kick.

I am not a fan of corn tortillas, but this dish was excellent.

I made this recipe for my family and everyone loved it. I used a small can of diced green chilis instead of cutting up and seeding whole chilis. I also used a yellow onion instead of red. We like our food spicey, so this dish was perfect for us. It turned out fabulous and my family is already begging me to make it again!

This had wondeful flavors and textures. It's a keeper! Messy and quite a bit of work, but it was worth it in the end.

This recipe is excellent. Don't leave out the sour cream topping!
    Leftovers are good, too.

Fabulous. Followed recipe completely EXCEPT did not add peppers. Guests and kids loved it. Added to my favorites. Next time I'll use 1/2 recommended peppers and add after first half are done. Please make a mexican (spanish rice recipe to go with.

My husband, who went to college in Colorado, raved about this dish. He said it tasted very traditional.

Oh yes, these were sooo good. But watch the spice. My husband and I love spicy food, and even he cut the amount of chipotles in half. It was plenty spicy for us. Makes for great leftovers, too.
