To Txhoneybee: Read the end of the recipe- "Serve hot with Spicy Black Beans and Yellow Rice, the remaining tomatillo salsa, SOUR CREAM and fresh guacamole, if desired." Really not a reason to give one star because you couldn't figure out to servce as a condiment.

My son and I had alot of fun making this together. I love salsa verde but never made enchiladas with it. It is a very easy and very flavorful dish.I used chicken breasts that I cooked with old bay and cumin . This is a great dish to make ahead . And to Texas honeybee read on sour cream is used as a side topping !

Where does the 2 cups sour cream go? Totally pissed - made this last night and could not figure out what to do with the 2 cups sour cream I purchased!

We've been making this for years...since my husband first saw it by chance because he was too lazy to get up to get the remote to change the channel. These are absolutely the BEST enchiladas I have ever had! Maybe a little too heavy on the lime juice for our tastes..we typically leave it out until the very end and add to taste since the tomatillos are tart. Oh...and please use corn tortillas...the flour ones would just get slimy.

Definitely a MUST TRY recipe if you haven't done it yet!

These are the most delicious version of enchiladas i have ever made, or tasted. I have made it many times, always to rave reviews. Made it for my staff at work, and while watching me make it(I work in a kitchen they thought I was crazy, but when it was time to eat all you could hear were smacking and chewing noises. Making it tomorrow for a new man in my life I'm trying to impress. The tomatillo salsa is amazing, and so easy-I never thought I'd like green salsa until I tasted this, which has become my go-to salsa recipe for just about everything. I don't do the rotisserie chicken-instead I buy chicken quarters(because they're always on sale, rub a mix of chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and oregano on them, sear them, then braise them, and the cooking liquid is what I use instead of store-bought chicken broth. It made these even more delicious.

This recipe is fantastic! I did not make the beans or rice, and other than baking chicken thighs instead of using the rotisserie chicken, followed the recipe exactly. I do agree with the other reviewers that you should definitely double the salsa (or cut the enchilada recipe in half. Would recommend this recipe if you want to cook for friends or guests as the flavors are incredible!

Okay, I cheated and used a jar of Frontera Tomatillo salsa (which is a fab salsa as far as I am concerned. However, I did rotisserie my own chicken and followed the rest of the recipe. Turned out great, had to season the sauce pretty generously and once I did the flavor just popped. this one is a keeper and I will definitely make it again.

This recipe is amazing! They've become a staple in your household- I promise it gets faster every time you make them! I use corn tortillas and double the salsa. I also leave the jalapenos seeds in for some kick. They are also even better the next day.
