Excellent version of chicken francese. I even made it gluten free by using gluten free flour and the taste was still delicious. It tasted just like my favorite restaurant in Little Italy, NY.

OMG this is a wonderful tasty quick and easy recipe I will do all the time. It reminds me of chicken marsala minus the mushrooms and marsala. After ready all the reviews I decided not to use the lemon circles. Here is what I modified. In lieu of the lemon cirles just used juice of a lemon (1 with the chix stock & wine and I added Emeril's creole seasoning to the flour. Perfection dinner served with rice, chicken was very tender and flavorful. I actually us Emeril's seasoning in all my chicken dishes, it's amazing and like nothing I ever tasted!

The first time I had Chicken Francese was in the now defunct Village Square Inn in Newfoundland, NJ. It's been 18 years since I've had it as good and have tried it in various places. But, I found it again in this...I did modify the recipe according to the reviews posted and didn't cook the sauce with the lemon rounds. This was super easy to make and very reminiscent of one my favorite dishes from home. My husband loved it and my picky 5 year old daughter was a fan even asking for seconds. Thanks Tyler!

Didn't read the comments and mine was awful! The lemon peels made it bitter. I am making it again without the full slices in the sauce...ill let u know results! Shows how much one little detail can ruin a meal!

I've made this three times already.... Follow the recipe exactly but forget about the lemon slices... too bitter... add lemon zest instead...
