First time making chicken noodle soup. Have to say that another reviewer's advice about saving the stock vegetables, blending them, and adding them to the actual soup made ALL of the difference. The broth alone had a weak taste and then when I blended all of the vegetables I was a little hesitant to add them into the soup. But it made the soup SO delicious. In the video Tyler puts all the veggies in the pot with their skin on - even onions and garlic but because I had planned on making the veggie puree I washed and peeled everything before adding it to the stock. AMAZING!

I loved this recipe. My husband, son and very picky daughter ate every last drop. I didn't add the turnip because I forgot, but will try to next time. I recommend watching the video first, I wasted time chopping vegetable for the broth and Tyler makes is look a lot simpler. For a very novice cook like me, this was a no brainer, hard to screw up recipe. I did end up adding quite a bit of salt, maybe lose to 1/8 a cup, but what a difference it made to the flavor. All these years of having campbell's chicken soup, I should have made it from scratch. I never knew how easy it was.

I made the stock with out the turnip. I used the Ina example and removed the breasts and thigh and continued to cook for 2 hours. I then strained the stock to remove the bones. Omg so good. Then I added biscuick dumplings instead of noodles. So good!!!

This recipe was super yummy! This was also my first solo attempt at Chicken Noodle Soup and everyone loved it! I did use a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store instead of a fresh one, but it still turned out wonderful! I also followed the advice on here and blended the veggies from the stock. I added some saffron as well and it turned the stock a beautiful color and gave it some more great flavor. I will definitely use this recipe again.

This chicken noodle soup was delicious, my husband and father-in-law really enjoyed it. It's actually an easy recipe, but does take quite a bit of time. I followed the recipe as stated with the following exceptions: I added a good amount of salt to the chicken stock and I added a diced jalapeño to the chicken noodle soup just for a little spice. It was great, and will definitely make it again!

So tasty! First try making my own stock and followed the additional advice of blending the vegetables from the stock making and added to the soup. Yummy

Took the advice to puree the vegetables from making the stock and adding to the soup. I also added 2 tsp of cinnamon to the stock. It gave it a very rich flavor. Definitely the best chicken noodle soup I've ever eaten!

Good, but not "homemade". Ok, for a quick soup but I always make my soup from scratch....then blend all of the carrots, celery and half of the carrots and add to soup. It is thick, creamy and oh, so flavorful. No chicken stock for me.
