Recipe was tasty. I used San Marzano tomatoes and left out the olives (didn't have them!. I think that the next time I make this I will puree the sauce and add a tsp or so of tomato paste to thicken it a wee bit. I also added parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs (I used 1/2 panko and 1/2 regular. Chicken should also be seasoned before flouring.

My rating is on the chicken only. I didn't make the sauce becuase I don't like olives. The chicken was great! I love how the breading stayed on the chicken and did not get too soggy even with the cheese and sauce on top.

AMAZING. It was a little time consuming because of the marinara, but sooo worth it. If you dont want to spend as much time on it, you can just use a jar of your favorite sauce and prepare the chicken as instructed and it's fabulous. The left overs are wonderful too! They make excellent sandwiches! Another winner from Tyler Florence :

This recipe was great! My boyfriend who doesn't cook often, found it and made it for me for Valentines. It turned out delicious! I loved the different kick that the olives gave it. I think it was my favorite part of the dish. I will be making this again, and definitely using the sauce for inspiration for other dishes.

This is a great recipe - super easy! Things I changed - crushed tomatoes instead of whole - i think this reduced the cooking time for the sauce- i also tripled the garlic. For the breading, i added more grated parmesan for an extra cheesy piece of chix. Having one pan for saute to bake also helped reduce time and the dishes. Time savers, pound chix in the before work and buy chopped garlic. ENJOY!!

Like some other people, I omitted the olives, and I added some thyme and red pepper flakes. Overall I found this to be a pretty tasty dish, if a little time-consuming. My husband and I weren't bowled over (but he's a notoriously picky eater, so take his opinion with a grain of sand, but I think I'd keep this one hand to make in the future.
