I fixed this tonight for my 87 year old Italian husband. We loved it! I said it was restaurant quality and he replied, "Fine restaurant" quality. Was I pleased. If it tastes good to my husband who grew up with an Italian Momma's cooking, it is surely a keeper. Thank you, Tyler, for a fantastic recipe. Will continue making it.

KnitWits give it a very enthusiastic thumbs up! Quick and easy, best home made tomato sauce ever! Usually comes out sour but draining really helps eliminate sourness. Tyler Florence never lets me down!

This was the first time I made chicken parmesan, and found it somewhat difficult. However, the husband enjoyed it, and it came out quite well. Next time I will be careful not to overcook the chicken in the frying pan.

I first found this recipe in Tyler Florence's cookbook Eat This Book. I had so much fun making this for my husband and small daughters. That's important for me because I'm a stay-at-home Mom and spend a lot of time cooking. I had fun making this dish, the flavors are so fresh! My husband loved this even though he's not a fan of Kalamata olives. I used a little more garlic than the recipe called for. Delicious and I'll make it again!

I squeezed too much juice out of the tomatoes so I didn't have enough sauce. However, I know how to change it when I make it again. Other than that, it was a big hit. Very delicious.

I had picky eaters over for dinner and made this (without the olives But it is even better with the olives. Anyway it was a hit and it was 100% better the next day. I used Angel hair.
