I made this recipe for my son's 14th birthday dinner. He is a chicken parmigiana fanatic and we often go to Italian restaurants where he orders this dish. I took a chance in making this for his special day and it paid off several times over. Everyone LOVED the meal. I didn't use the olives and put the sauce on after baking the chicken in the oven so that the chicken didn't get soggy. In order to melt the cheese onto the sauce after taking it out of the oven, I put each individual family member's plate in the microwave. This was a little bit time consuming, but well worth it. The sauce is fabulous and I plan to make a huge batch to freeze and use for spaghetti dinners. Thanks for the great recipe. It was well worth the effort.

WOW - Best Chicken Parm I ever tasted and lo and behold I made it too! Had the in-laws over and they ate up every bite! Made for a gorgeous plate! So delicious. My kitchen was a bit of a mess after, but big deal! So worth the mess! I'm having cravings for it now!

My daughter and I made this right after watching the episode, as this is one of her favorite dishes. This was the best we'd ever had. The simple sauce with the San Marzano tomatoes was amazing. Left out the Kalamata olives, as we don't care for them.

This is the best I've made and I've made a lot of them. The sauce is very similar to a Puttenesca Sauce and goes very well with the chicken. The only change I would make is to use grated Mozzarella cheese instead of a thick slab.

I made this and split the breast into cutlets. Wow! Will do again. I, however, opted to finish the chicken on a rack set over a baking sheet and only layered the sauce with the cheese on top so that it remained crispy. I served remaining sauce on side. That sauce is amazing!

I made this recipe last night and my husband is still raving about it this morning! It took a bit to get all the ingredients together, but it was worth it. I did tenderize the chicken, which I think makes a big difference. Next time I may fry in the skillet a few more moments to have it a bit crispier, maybe 5-6 minutes per side and then bake for 10 minutes. It was wonderful paired with the garlic bread, too! (Typing this as I eat last night's leftovers - still great!

The recipie is GREAT!!! I made it for friends and got rave reviews. My only "down" comment would be that the sauce recipe should be in greater quantities (like maybe double, because there just isn't enough sauce for leftovers!!!

Other than that, it is WONDERFUL!!!!! Best Chiucken Parmegiania recipe I have yet to fijnd!
