TYLER , GIVES YOU THE TOOLS YOU HAVE TO FIX IT TO YOUR LIKING. I FOUND WHEN I READ THE REVIEWS THEY HELPED. BUT THE OTHER REVIEWERS SHOULD KNOW EVERY RECIPE NEEDS YOUR OWN TOUCH. THE MAIN COMPLAINT WAS IT WAS TOO THIN, DUH, THICKEN IT THEN. TYLER LIKES PARMASEAN, NOT ON MY POT PIES. OVER ALL I THOUGHT IT WAS EXXXXCELLENTTTTT!!!!!!! I PUT A LITTLE MORE ROSEMAY AND MARJORAM AND TOPED THE CRUST WITH JUST SALT AND PEPPER.

I thought this was a simple and yummy recipe. I used a little more flour to get the right consistency. This was comfort food at it's best! Thanks Tyler!

I watched Tyler make this on his show, and I thought it looked great! I read the reviews and saw that 8 cups of broth was too much, so I only put 6 cups in.

I was very dissapointed in the consistency. It was more like chicken pot soup instead of chicken pot pie.

If I try this again, it'll need a lot of doctoring up.

I've made some of Tyler's recipe's before & they're good but for some reason I decided to read the reviews on this one after I had the chicken cooked. So I only used 6 cups of the broth, added alittle extra flour than a level 1/2 cup & it wasn't to runny. I did add alittle more salt & lots more pepper than on the recipe as well as adding alittle more chicken bouillon & it was very good.

Tyler is one of my favorites and I usually prefer his recipes over most, but this one didnt come out to well, bland and watery, guess I need to read reviews more often. He still has the best recipes over all, except maybe for Ina.

Fabulous even without the crust (gluten-free, I put the mashed potatoes on top before baking.

I made this recipe this past weekend during the blistering cold in New England. Soup is killer! I used vegetable broth instead of chicken and substituted soy chicken for the meat, added 2 portabello caps as hubby and I are veggies. Oh and most importantly, we skipped on the topping as I've yet to find a puffed pastry that isn't made with hydrogenated oils, which are horrible for you. I will definitely make this as a soup again!

Making this meal was fun. I really enjoyed making everything from scratch. The 1/2 cup flour was not enough so it took longer than the 20 minutes to cook and was not as thick. We all enjoyed the dish and now I have a date with my oven...sigh.

This chicken pot pie was so not worth the energy. The chicken broth itself had no flavor whatsoever. I think that the recipe calls for far too much water. When the pot pie was finally done, it had a runny consistency and again had no flavor. The only thing that was good was the crust.
