Good base, but I added 1 ginger, 2 more sesame oil, 3 Red pepper flakes, 4 cashews, 5 sesame seeds, 6 olive oil/soy sauce/cayenne sauce to add some character and flavor. Turned out great! Skip the Teriyaki...

The instructions call for adding "the teriyaki sauce". There is no teriyaki sauce listed in the ingredient list. Without it, the only seasoning is sesame oil. The chinese are known for the sauces they put on stir fry's. Sesame oil is almost never used alone in chinese cooking. For all who tried the recipe and loved it, I think it would have been overwhelmingly toasted/smokey tasting and bland with no salt component.

This recipe is one I'll make over and over again because of how quick and delicious it is! The sesame oil gives the meat a nice nutty flavor. One thing I like to do is add water chestnuts for crunch, and I add more teriyaki sauce than the recipe calls for. Mmmmm, craving some right now!

Simple and tasty meal. Great for beginners that want results and encouragement to continue learning. Onyl thin is they don't tell you how much teriyaki sauce to use - I used 3/4 -1 cup to taste :

I attempted making this dish twice. Neither me nor my boyfriend are very experienced cooks, so this may have not been the best or easiest recipe to attempt. The first time we made it, it was horrible. Either the directions weren't detailed enough or we skipped a step. However, the second time we tried, it was incredible. As long as you get it right, you won't be disappointed.
