This was more like a sloppy joe than a chili dog. The ketchup taste was to obvious. I won't make this again.

Not the chili I expect with a hot dog. Not much "chili" flavor either.
    Tastes more like beef bbq
No need for 1/4 c olive oil either
burger made enough to cook the onions and garlic

too sweet from the ketchup you should use a can of sauce and it needs cumin to have the taste of chili

The recipe calls for a quarter cup olive oil but when you make it it only asks for 2 T. Where does the rest go?

Sorry Tyler, this was a horrible chili for hot dogs. While I can't say the taste was awful, it certainly was not chili. Someone else made a comment something like "used it for sloppy joes". Well, it was a 3-star for sloppy joes.

For the life of me, I just find it hard to believe so many rated this 4 or 5 stars. I'm just glad I tried it before serving to anyone and calling it Chili Dog Sauce.

I don't cook very often but was craving a chili dog and came searching..I love Tyler's foods so I figured i'd give this a shot. I loooooved these! I did cut everything in half because I was only eating myself, and they are easy and yummmyyy!! I'm making these with my mom soon. Give them a try, and if you aren't sure you will like them, cut everything in half! Thanks Tyler! ill never buy "canned hotdog chili" again! =

I had these for my 47th birthday - I did not tell anybody about the change in chili recipe - from mouths full of hot dog all I heard were muffled "this is the best hot dog I have ever had"
