I must agree with all those who said the chili was more like a sloppy joe. I am a purist when it comes to chili and make a chili colorado that contains no tomatoes, much less tomato ketchup. Just use soaked and pureed ancho chilies, minced onions, garlic, toasted and ground cumin, salt, pepper, and oregano along with ground sirloin for a rich smooth chili.

No need to go for the beef franks either, the regular Ballpark Franks that contain pork have a better flavor.

This was very good. I made this simple recipe one hour before my friends and family were going to arrive. EVERYONE enjoyed our chili dogs and hamburgers! Great Recipe and VERY easy. Thanks HUNKY Tyler! :

This was so bad. I only used 2 cups of ketchup and it was still too much. More like a sloppy joe than chili. I am hoping that I can add more meat and water and salvage some of it.

I wanted a chili dog recipe not a sloppy joe recipe. I'm still on a search for a good chili dog recipe.

Terrible!! Just ketchup & mustard with a little other seasoning. Not enough flavor! We didn't even eat it after we made it. I expected more!

What a CRAPPY recipe. I am disappointed. This one tastes like ketchup with ground meat. Don't waste your time on this one.

In my opinion, I thought it was like eating sloppy joes with a little too much ketchup. Just wasn't that crazy about it. My husband liked it so I guess that is all that matters.

We enjoyed this recipe! I had some chili left over so I put the left overs in a freezer bag and freezing it for the next time we need some chili.
