    Despite all the silly "comments", I say these cookies were extremely easy, inexpensive, and a delight to make and eat. I tried some different things: peppermint pieces over the chocolate, chocolate pieces over the chocolate, and also chopped nuts. All were fun additions and I was so thrilled to present these at parties. If you like meringue, you'll love these!

    I agree with the previous reviewer. Don't comment unless it is on the recipe. Obviously no one listened. This is a falsehood to the sight. Has anyone one heard of a pen? The recipe is not that long and you could have written the recipe in the time it took you to write the review. By the way, the cookies were out of this world and guess what--I had a pen handy!!!!!

    I apologize for this being another comment. In fact this is a response to the other comments. Please do not leave a comment unless you have reviewed the recipe. I get so tired of seeing 5 star recipes only to find out when reading the reviews they are just comments--no one has really tried the recipe. If you haven't tried it and think it just looks good please don't tell us that....rate the recipe after you have tried it! The only way you can leave a comment is to rate it which is misleading to the rest of us.
