This Babka was the best! It tasted like a big cinnamon roll. It took a wile to make but it was all worth it.

I doubled the filling. And it was great. Everybody loved it. It was really easy too.

Everyone was asking for the recipe...my husband made this but used tangerine for the zest and omitted the raisins...Fabulous!

When I was a kid in the early 60's I had Babka when visiting my Polish Uncle. I never forgot how it tasted, and never experienced it again for many years. Tyler's recipe is one of many I tried and this is the closest I came too. Like another commenter, I also doubled the filling recipe, which made it a bit more like what I remembered. I also replaced 2 tbs of the 1/4 cup water with Citris Vodka for the Glaze (gave it a bit of a pizzaz. Nice job, Tyler!

We loved this recipe. I made dough in my bread machine..used 1/4 c eggbeaters in place of 1 egg, 1/4 cup of veg. oil in place of 1/4th cup of the margarine. Replaced 2 cups of all purpose flour with bread flour. Nice dough to work with. I will make this often. Thanks Tyler!!!

This is a very good recipe as the dough is delicious as well as the filling. However, for my taste it needs about double the amount of filling that it has for a Babka. I think Babka should be very gooey.

Taste's great, moist, not difficult to make. Will definitely make this again.
