One major pro of this was that it was incredibly easy and quick to make. But otherwise... meh. I was hoping for something good, but honestly, I think I would have been better off with Guy's 'noodle salad'.
It tastes all right, better than microwaveable dry noodles but definitely not something I'd expect if I went out to eat. It doesn't really look very appealing, either. I was pretty faithful to the recipe, too, with the exclusion of cilantro, and I used buckwheat noodles instead of angelhair pasta. Not awful, but I wouldn't make it again.

My boyfriend LOVES this recipe and I make it for all the pot lucks and tailgates we go to. I add some chicken tenders that I bake simply after an asian marinade. YUM. I do agree that the noodles soak up alot of sauce, so I like to make a batch and a half if I am using a whole box of pasta.

This recipe was really good. The sauce is very pungent in a good way. The only thing I changed was that I substitute the noodles with buckwheat noodles or soba for the added nutrion. It is really good with a protien, I choose tuna. A fantastic recipe either way.

So far I have addicted: my 84 year old dad, my sister, my son......to these so yummy noodles. I make a double batch every week to divvy up amongst the family. Great to have in the fridge when its too hot to to cook, or brown bag to work for lunch, or are looking for something substantial for that 2 AM coming home from a late night snack.
The noodles DO suck up the sauce and they can get a tad dry. Here's what I do: I double the sauce recipe. Add what is called for in the recipe for the noodles, and keep the rest in a separate jar in the fridge. If the noodles get a little dry, stir in a little extra sauce and you will think you just made them 5 minutes ago. This dish actually gets better after a day or two in the fridge. Tyler Florence rocks!

This is simple and delicious... I made it in 15 minutes at 5:00 a.m. and it didn't tax my poor brain too much. My only challenge now will be to refrain from eating it all before lunchtime!

We love this recipe b/c it always has leftovers that are perfect for snacking during the week. We make it at least a couple times a month. If you add shredded chicken, you can make it a meal. I also like to add chopped peanuts and cucumber. Adding any vegetable will make it stretch.

I've made this recipe several times. It is so quick, easy and delicious! I love that I can make it now and serve it later. I use chili powder instead of chili paste and sesame oil instead of the peanut oil because that's what I have on hand, and it still tastes delicious. It's perfect for dinner and lunch the next day.
