Like other people said here, the recipe on the website is wrong. I used 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 1/2 cups whole milk and a little over 1 cup of cornmeal. It took quite a while to get it to a simmer with the corn in there (I used 3 ears, but it was worth it because the steeped corn added a nice sweetness. It was light, delicate and delicious. This is not the first time on of Tyler's recipes was printed wrong on this site, so it always pays to check out the reviews before investing time, money and effort into these recipes. But everyone loved it.

I could have just eaten this by itself, but delicious with Tyler's Beef Chili! The consistency was just right, not dry but not too moist. We loved it and will definetly make again!

This was exceptionally bland and we did not care for the texture. The poblano's were a great addition and I will add them to my cornbread from now on.

This was a souffle by every meaning of the word. Although we love souffle, the additions of the crisp corn and and the aldente poblano mixed with the bland pillow consistentcy of the 'pudding', made this really hard to stomach. I was also surprised that the recipe does not call for salt.

On the bright side, I can see where this might work with a robust chili such as the one Tyler made in this episode. I would suggest pouring it OVER the 'pudding'. If used in this manner, I may have given it more stars.

Paula Deen had an outstanding corn pudding recipe. If it is pudding you are looking for - I suggest you look it up.

It wasn't hard to make and I liked the idea of the poblano pepper. I felt that it didn't have that much taste. I also like the texture of corn casserole much better. I think I will try making the corn casserole and adding the chives and poblano pepper to that. How ever we did the sweet potato chips with blue cheese and chive dip and it was awesome!!! Big hit

It was ok. I think we let it rest too long. You can still eat it but it just ok.

in the show tyler uses 2 cups heavy cream and 1 1/2 cups whole milk. he doesn't give a measurement for the cornmeal but says to use a 3 to 1 ratio liquid to cornmeal, which would work out to just over 1 cup of cornmeal.

between the errors in this recipe and finding the right texas chili recipe from this episode, which then also has errors in it, it took me an extra hour or so to put together the correct recipes and steps to reproduce tyler's ultimate chili.

my thanks to tyler, it was worth the extra effort!
