I have tried a few flourless cake recipes and have never been happy. This cake I would make again. It was very good. I had to bake it however double the time the recipe called for. Not sure why.

could somebody help me, i tried this recipe a couple of times, the first after i followed the directions came out still uncooked in the middle. the second timei let it cook for 40-45 minutes and it wasn't nearly as mushy in the center, but it wasn't set. is this recipe supposed to be a little bit mushy in the center? any help would be appreciated.

Great texture, nice and moist, easy to make. Make sure not to overbake it, otherwise the middle will get dry.

I made this recipe into cupcakes for my father-in-law's birthday. He is wheat intollerant and this worked perfectly.
The recipe makes 40-44 cupcakes. I lined the pans with cupcake papers (spraying the paper with cooking spray didn't seem to make a difference they came out easily. Cook for 15-17 minutes depending on your oven.
I could only cook 12 at a time. The batter stayed on the counter in a cool bowl and, in the end, all the batches turned out the same. I wouldn't say they lost anything by having the batter lose some of it's air.
Overall, I'm very happy with this recipe!

This was so delicious and elegant. I served it with raspberry sorbet and drizzled a little homemade hot chocolate sauce over it made with butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla, cocoa and a splash of cream. A chocolate lover's dream.

I was intimidated by this recipe but decided to get over that and try it anyway. I'm so glad I did. I made it last night and Tyler's right ... that's the last chocolate cake recipe I'll need.

I saw this demonstrated on TV by Tyler and I saw him using 2 sticks of butter. I followed the recipe as written the first time and found that the cake needed to be cooked for twice as long. It was still delightful but crumbly. I will make it again with the 2 sticks of butter and expect an improved version.

I took this to work cut up into small pieces, EVERYONE was raving about how great it was. Even the Clients from France were impressed, and they are they hardest people to impress with food.
