A great side to your favorite turkey recipe. I used a small cinnamon stick so the flavor was not so overpowering.

This is the best cranberry sauce I've ever had by far. We generally try to change things up each holiday season: different recipes for turkey, stuffing, potatoes, salad, etc., but in five years I've never searched for another recipe for cranberry sauce because this one is so good. For those saying it was too tart, remember that cranberries vary in tartness so be sure to taste before serving and adjust the amount of sugar accordingly. 1/2 cup has always worked perfect for us. Then again, we like it a little tart. Thanks for another amazing recipe, Tyler!

A bit more tart than I like but it made for a nice presentation and my guests went back for seconds so I'd call it a success.

Sorry Tyler, I made this and almost ruined my Thanksgiving dinner. It should have AT LEAST a cup of sugar. If you could have seen the faces that tasted it. It was so tart we could not eat it. I usually taste things before I serve them, but trusted Tyler...:(..tried it with more sugar the next time and it was awesome.

Very tasty, my family loved it Thanksgiving. My only suggestion is maybe to add some orange juice in addition to the pot. The orange I zesty was good, but didn't have alot of juice so the flavor wasn't as strong as I wanted. My daughter's boyfriend thought it was great but suggested maybe adding a 1/2 cup of red wine to it next time. Might have to try it.

This is the BEST cranberry sauce recipe I have come across yet. Packages of cranberries come in 12 oz fresh bags where I lived, so I did have to alter the recipe accordingly. I still used a whole orange and its juice. I also did not have a cinnamon stick in my pantry, and used 1/4 tsp of cinnamon in its place. The flavor is bright, the orange really compliments the cranberries well, and the addition of cinnamon is surpisingly good. btw - I've made this recipe twice. It is important to keep cooking the sauce until the all of the berries are burst and the liquid feels like you are stirring a jam. My first go-round I was too impatient and the sauce, while yummy, was too liquidy and tart.

Way too tart for us. I added in a few spoonfulls of apricot jam and that worked nicely. :
