My Mother -in-law and my sister-in-law both loved it and wanted the recipe. My husband thought it was yummy also. Very easy to make and made the house smell like Christmas. :

I am not a big fan of cranberry sauce, but I watched this on tv and thought it looked cool and decided to test it this Thanksgiving. I liked this sauce and will keep it for next year. Very simple and fun to make. This is one you can let your kids work on to get them involved in the kitchen. I used 1 12 oz bag of cranberries and think that helped temper the tang and make it orangier.

Loved this recipe and would recommend to anyone who likes a tart cranberry sauce. I added Pama liquer and found it to be a delightful addition.

Super super easy! I made it tonight for our Thanksgiving dinner! I had two 12 ounce bags of cranberries and I only used one bag, so I added 1/2 a cup of sugar and instead of a regular orange I used the peel and juice of a blood orange and cooked the segments along with the cranberries. I do suggest adding more sugar, it was tart like cranberry sauce is suppose to be, I happen to like it that way. I also added powdered cinnamon (I didn't have a cinnamon stick turned out beautifully. I also left the cranberries whole( it's more like chutney then sauce and I did add a little water, but it was a nice thick consitencency! I didn't taste the orange peel maybe because I cooked out?? Super super tasty...thank you Tyler Florence! This will be on m Thanksginig table from now on!

Tyler you are the man but this recipe is not good. I thought I was eating a handful of green sour patch kids. Please revise this so no one else tries it. Thanks.

This cranberry sauce definitely beats the canned stuff. I used spenda instead of regular sugar but next time I will just use regular sugar because it was a little too sweet with the splenda. I ended up having to mash some of the cranberries with a wooden spoon because I didn't want it quite as chunky as it turned out but despite that, it was still very very tasty! Will be making every year.

This takes cranberry sauce to a new level without a lot of effort. In fact it's extremely simple to cook. My family loved it. I will never open a can of this stuff again. I added a little additional sugar and dollop of orange preserves.
