We love this cranberry sauce! I have made this the last few years and never liked canned cranberries and love this. As usual I don't keep cinnamon sticks in the house so I just add some ground cinnamon and it always tastes wonderful. Just thought I would write a review this year as I am back to retrieve the recipe. Happy Thanksgiving

I used local honey - about 1/3 cup since I like it a bit more tart. So easy, and delicious. I never eat the canned stuff anymore, and use all organic ingredients.

Good recipe for a base, but so many modifications by so many people that the recipe is almost unrecognizable. I used a cup of orange juice along with the zest of one orange and used organic blue agave instead of sugar. After taking the sauce off the heat, I added the two cinnamon sticks. Refrigerate over night and removed the cinnamon sticks before serving.

I used a 12 ounce bag of cranberries and one good sized orange. This recipes is super easy, super delicious, and it will make you never want to used canned again. One of the best cranberry sauce recipes I have tasted and is now a regular staple for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner at our house. I only used about 1/3 cup of sugar as I like my cranberry sauce slightly tart.

My Mother -in-law and my sister-in-law both loved it and wanted the recipe. My husband thought it was yummy also. Very easy to make and made the house smell like Christmas. :
