I was very disappointed in this dish...I had to make a rue and doctor this dish up ... I followed the recipe and it was way to watery to serve my guests...

I love this recipe...so easy and so delicious. Just be patient before adding the cream! I threw in a couple tablespoons of grated parm before serving.....everyone loved it and asks me to make it when ever we serve steak! Thank you Tyler, you make me feel like a 'scratch" cook when I make this:

I found this to be the best creamed spinach I've ever had. I did have an awful lot of liquid in the dish when I served it but I didn't cook the spinach until it dried. One viewer said it took the color out. The next time I'll simply drain off some of the liquid.

Tyler Florence is excellent. His recipes are real, fresh, simplistic and delicious. I would like to see more of him on T.V. This recipe enhances the fresh spinach with the seasoning and cream, not over-powering the fresh vegetable.

This recipe was easy but not very tasty. It's spinach so it is good but the recipe seemed to be lacking something. I will try another creamed spinach.

I had made this recipe before (or so I thought and decided to make it for our Christmas dinner. Well, to accomodate the amount of guests I doubled the recipe. After I finished the whole thing I thought maybe that was the problem, that I had doubled the recipe. It wasn't! I found the recipe I had made before and this was NOT it! This recipe took FOREVER to cook down the liquid and then when it finally did dry out it was lacking in color and had turned bitter...that's what happens when you cook spinach too long! Absolutely horrible! I can say his other recipe is TO DIE FOR! So good and much easier to make. So check out the one with 5 stars. I'm still surprised this one got 4!

Made the whole meal, and this was probably the least favorite of any of the recipes. Again, directions for the recipe don't work, so you have to modify on the fly which is tough to do when you've got other dishes standing getting cold.

Per other reviewers, needs WAAAAY longer than 15 minutes to really cook down to a good consistency. Also, flavor is a little lacking - needs more garlic, more nutmeg and I'll add some parmesan the next time - both for flavor and to help thicken it up.

I was disappointed in this recipe. I read a few reviews and thought this was a winner, especially how easy the recipe seemed to be. It was bland and took a lot longer than the 15 minutes it posted as the cooking time. You have to add about 15-20 minutes more to dry out the spinach. Not a good recipe.

This recipe is very good. It is easy, creamy, and flavorful! I make this all the time for my family.
