This dish was FANASTIC! The rosemary and garlic spiced up the chicken legs and my whole family loved it. It was probably the best "baked" chicken I've ever made. I will use this recipe for a long time!

Great flavor with some basic ingredients. The crispy panko crust makes it crunchy and seals in the juices and the wedge of lemon a delicious accompaniment. Everyone in my extended family ages 7 thru 74 enjoyed it! It's the new family "repeat."

terrific crispiness. panko makes all the difference in the world. i do agree that for the number of pieces of chicken you can easily decrease the coating ingredients by half. 350 oven not hot enough initially to achieve a nice brown color. i increased the temp to 425 for 15 min, turned the chicken and cooked another 10-15 on the other side, then decreased the oven temp to 350 to roast until done. everyone loved it. i will try it next time without the rosemary and garlic and use my traditional seasonings for oven baked chicken. yum!!!! sc

I really enjoyed this recipe as did my husband. I found it to be just as delicious, if not more so, than fried chicken. I would definitely make this dish again.

My son and my daughter both said the chicken was moist and had good flavor. They did not like the breadcrumbs. They said it was too crunchy.
On the other hand, my cousin and I both thought it was delicious.
I used roasted garlic, kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, fresh rosemary and olive oil into a nice paste. I then took the mixture and rubbed it into the panko crumbs so it was evenly distributed.
I have to say I wish I could give it a 4 1/2 stars. But I have always promised to listen to their opinion when it comes to my posting reviews on here.

I agree with garnet. 2 cups milk? 3 cups flour and 4 cups panko? for 12 legs? who writes these recipes. I have found that if you don't know what you are doing with these recipes, you will waste a great deal of ingredients. also, the cooking times and temperatures must be for Viking or Wolf ranges, because they are NEVER correct.
