OH my gosh, what do I say about the flavor of these "chips". The flavor is one of the best things I've ever tasted but "chips"? I"m not sure about that. I couldn't get my crunchy. That was okay though. The flavor out weighed that. Next time I will work on making sure that I perfect the crispiness of these. Thinking they should have been cut thinner. Very easy to make too!!

We loved them with the parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Easy to make and easy to eat.

The best way to cook these tasty little morsals is most definately in a "Fry Daddy". Just about 3 minutes and they are perfect. Once they are done take them out and drain them on a paper towel... make sure you sprinkle them with parmesan cheese. Ummmmmmmm... Yummy!!!

These chips are a little tricky...if you don't get them sliced thin enough. And they may appear burnt but they really are not. I also let them dry separated before I place them in a bowl for snacking. I also used garlic salt with the Parmesan and fried herbs and Wow....are they delicious.

We've tried this recipe a few times and cannot get them crispy enough without burning, they are very thin too, so I don't think it's a case of slicing these too thick. Frustrated because these chips took awhile and came out very unlike the "TV Show."

I am so glad I tried this recipe. Didn't really feel like I was eating a vegetable. I could eat these as a snack. I don't have a mandolin so I used my electric knife to get the thin slices. I did have some difficulty at first getting them crisp enough without over cooking.

I'm pretty handy in the kitchen, so it's not a "lack of experience" thing... but I could not get them Crispy enough to call them "chips" they were either too soft or burnt if I left them too long to crisp up. Followed recipe to the letter. I used a mandolin and didn't measure them but they were pretty darn thin. They tasted real good but too fussy of a recipe to serve or keep, dispite how simple it is. any tips from folks with success?

I loved them, would do them again for company. The parmesan cheese really adds flavor.

Did not find this recipe difficult at all.

Be mindful of Tyler's "intermediate" rating, as it took me 2.5 hours from start to finish. These chips are delicious, however I couldn't get them crispy. My mandolin wouldn't cut 1/16" slices, so cut 1/8" slices instead, which were too thick. I placed them in the oven to help dry them out (after frying, but didn't work well.
So: if you have a mandoline that will cut thin slices and have a lot of time, these are a tasty treat.
