This is a nice recipe but I would suggest watering down the egg whites even more. You can also purchase these in the United States at www.crystallizedflowerco.com

As far as I'm concerned, I prefer to order them from France where they've been making them for centuries with real flowers. They are extremely pretty and delicious:

After painting the egg wash onto about 12 of the petals (with 48 still to go I pu the egg wash into a misting bottl and mistted the petals instead. The last 48 went by super fast and turned out perfectly crispy and crystalized. Thanks for the starting point!
