The extremely easy preparation of this salad is remarkable given how deliscious it tastes. I'll definitely make this again.

This is so easy and so GREAT... I also plumped the raisins in a little in brandy in the microwave, added thinly sliced celery, and I used silvered almonds toasted in a little butter. All were good adders...

This is FANTASTIC! I made a big batch before heading to Martha's Vineyard for a family vacation and we served this with a hearty bread and ate them on the beach. Even the kids thought it was great. My college-age daughter is coming home for the weekend and asked if we could make this together so that she could bring back the leftovers.

Didn't change a thing. If you are confused about the blanched almonds, no worries, just put the amount in a small pan of boiling water, cook for a minute, and drain and cool. The skins slip off easily.

This is an absolutely delicious combination. Only change I made was soaking the raisins in a little hot water before adding them to plump them up. Great meal idea - can try it so many different ways: in a wrap, on a bed of lettuce, just the way it is!

This is Party worthy. I used Red Curry and grapes because I didn't have raisins. If you use raisins, soak them in slightly warm water to hydrate them slightly, and then let them dry for 10 minutes. Let the curry power up the dish by adding a little extra and cutting back on the raisins/grapes by half. That way the sweetness is more of a surprise when it hits you on a few bites. Almonds are critical for crunch. Great stuff on bed of salad or on bread.

This will become my "go to" chicken salad. The only change I made was using dried cranberries rather than raisins... just like them better... really simple, easy & delicious recipe.

I made this recipe using leftover chicken from Pat's Beer Can Grilled Chicken recipe. I love the slight sweetness from the raisins and the crunch from the almonds! It's a great twist on traditional chicken salad. I would definitely make this recipe again!

Lovely recipe. Super easy to make and plenty of room to customize. I added diced celery to the chicken salad. Served it on lettuce cups with grilled aspargus, buttered bread and grapes to boot. Quickest dinner I've made in awhile and now have a great sandwich for tomorrow's lunch. Love Tyler!
