DEEEEELISCIOUS! This is my go-to meatloaf recipe. I've been using it for years. Family and friends BEG me to make it over and over! Even without the relish or bacon, it is amzing. The juiciest recipe I've ever found. When I want to switch it up, I stuff it with spinach and mozzarella!....... Now I want some lol

While we really enjoyed this meatloaf I challenge anyone to do the prep in 20 minutes as indicated. Including the time spent making the tomato relish I spent about an hour total. Just saying..... And judging from all of the favorable reviews, I must be the only one who thought the relish tasted way too much like ketchup. Not surprising since it has 12 ounces of ketchup in it. Next time I'll try 8 ounces and add more Worcestershire sauce. Yes, the meatloaf was pretty wet but held together for me. I too used bacon as indicated and loved it. Meatloaf was very moist and tasty. I followed this recipe exactly and mine reached 160 degree internal temp in 1 hour at 350 degree oven setting vs an hour and a half.

Loved this recipe! For the relish, I didn't use the bay leaves and opted for orange bell peppers instead of red (orange was cheaper. Instead of thyme in the meat, I used Italian Seasoning. The bacon on top was the ultimate touch. Will make this again soon.

I tried this recipe after watching Tyler make it on TV. I have been making it for 2 years now, my children hated meatloaf until this recipe. I make it with turkey meat and it's still delicious. Everyone who tries it , loves it !!! I am passing this recipe on to my friends at work. Can't wait until they try it. Tyler, thank you so much for sharing your dad's wonderful recipe!!!! This is the most delious meatloaf recipe !!! Judy , New Fairfield, CT.

My family loved it. I used green pepper and added celery. I also altered how much green pepper they would like. I added a package of Lipton soup mix, garlic powder, and onion powder to the hamburger. I also used 1 cup of oatmeal soaked in milk, instead of bread.
This was a delicious turn for the meatloaf. My family devoured it. This is definitely going into the recipe box.

I`ve been a chef for many years and have to say that is the best meatloaf in the word. Family loves it, I make every month just to keep everyone happy at home. And its the best in a sandwich the following day.

I love meatloaf and have tried alot. Paula's BBQ Meatloaf and her Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf are both really good, as are Rachael's Meatloaf Muffins, but this recipe is hands down our family's fav. Best meatloaf EVER!!!!

I have tried about 25 meatloaf recipes and finally gave up until my daughter requested meatloaf for dinner..... I figured I'd give it one more try and use Tyler's recipe (I have never been steered wrong by Tyler!.
WOW! Thank you Tyler! This is delicious! I froze half of the mix and just thawed and served it the other night. It was just as good after being frozen. The tomato relish is outstanding and also freezes well-
I just can't help but think that if you didn't like it, something is amiss. It's just too good to get less than 5 stars!
