This is not your average dry and bland meatloaf. The ground pork adds a wonderful flavor and keeps the loaf moist. The relish is to die for and adds a nice flavor.

First off this makes a HUGE meatloaf so if you're not big on leftovers or if there's a chance it might not go over well, you might want to 1/2 everything.

I followed this to the "T" and was expecting it to be moist and wonderful based on the other reviews. It was "okay". It definitely wasn't what I would call "moist" and for the amount of time and work, I was very disappointed. There was a lot of leftover too, that ended up getting tossed.

The tomato relish was delicious - and the whole thing was execellent as leftovers. The one thing that I did notice was that the relish that was in/on the meatloaf continued to cook so that the peppers were nice and soft. The reserved relish was a bit crunchier. Next time I would continue to cook the remainder of the relish for another 5-10 minutes.

This had to be the best meatloaf ever. I rec'd so many compliments about the flavor, texture.. & I was a bit skeptical about the white bread being added, but come to find out... it actually makes a difference. The Relish was such a plus. No additional ketcup required. You'll love this!

Like most of the other reviewers, this turned out beautifully. Since there are only the two of us most of the time we had plenty for additional meals. I don't think I will ever make another meatloaf. It is so delicious.

Prep time is longer, but well worth it. Try this recipe and enjoy!

My husband made this meal one Saturday afternoon, for my younger daughter and I. We were delighted with the taste and texture. I especially loved the tomato relish!! Not only was the taste great but it looked pretty too! It was so good that I called my eldest daughter and had her come over and try some. It will now become one of our favorite meals that we make often. Thank you, Tyler!

I rated it only 4 stars because, as wonderful as it is, I still prefer the recipe I've been making for the past 40 years, the main ingredient being just a can of undiluted tomato soup (yikes. But what really "makes" it is the sauce that I improvised to serve with it. I, too, had to add a few extra fresh breadcrumbs to Tyler's meatloaf in order to form it into a loaf. I love bell peppers in meatloaf so I thought the relish was superb! The only problem I had was the bacon didn't quite crisp up enough. I baked it on parchment paper to cut down on the cleanup. (A wise move, as it turned out.
