This is the best meatloaf I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I took Tyler.s suggestion in cooking a small portion for flavoring, it takes out the worry. Thank you Tyler for keeping your
dad.s recipe and passing it on to all.

When I first made this, my husband said, "This is the best meatloaf I've ever eaten!"
It is delicious. The leftover relish is great in turkey burgers too.
Many thanks, Tyler's Dad.

Made a fall comfort dinner of Dad’s Meatloaf & Ina’s Mac & Cheese. Everyone loved the dinner! I handed the recipe to my Foodie Neighbor who made one change, green for the red pepper. The relish was amazing (good on a burger/brat?? and meatloaf was super – everyone “had to have another small piece.” Bet Foodie had a yummy meatloaf sandwich the next day. Recipe served closer to 6 than 8. You won’t be disappointed!

We have a friend visiting with us that has just had serious brain surgery. All he wanted was a meatloaf for dinner. A really GOOD meatloaf. Talk about pressure. So I went online to see what I could fine. I've fixed a lot of meatloaves in my day, but none that I would call really GOOD. I came upon Tyler's dad's recipe, bit the bullet and bought the ingredients to make this recipe. Awesome doesn't even begin to describe how our guest felt about this recipe. He ate like he hadn't eaten in weeks. And to be honest, I'm not sure he had eaten very well. Half the meatloaf is left over, as is some of the tomato relish. My greatest fear is that a dish that tastes this good the first time around will never be as good the second time. But for the reaction we got from our friend, if never again this dish is as good, I will take the two thumbs up he gave. Thanks Mr. Florence.

Wow!!! A relish that can be used on so many different items. After I made this, I immediately thought...man, this could be used as a condiment on burgers, fish, chicken, pork chops, steak or whatever...very versitle condiment...heck, even a topping for hot dogs. Mr. Florence...I've watched you for a long time...THIS is OUTSTANDING! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!
